Right in the middle of Bryndwr

There’s a lot of good stuff going on in our suburb. And a lot of people just like you doing it.

Dozens of them are in our church, helping all over the place. No pretense. No stuffiness. No avoiding hard issues. Not just Pakeha; we’re a big mix of ethnicities. And we’re small enough so everyone knows everyone.

Focused on God and the people around them.

Our blog is a good place to start. Most weeks there’s something new. Click through some recent blog posts starting with the three at the foot of this page.

Our church is active in the community and has a range of groups you can join and be a part of. Small is good – we want to get to know you! In this department we’re definitely cool.

Come and join us.

What we do

Everyone has a journey to make, everyone has a path that is different, and we can support each other in this journey. As Christians we seek to help one another on this journey. Join us in sharing, worship, supportive atmosphere, music and learning as we explore spiritual life.

With upbeat services, vibrant youth and children’s programme the church places an emphasis on support and care for others.

Sunday 10.00 am – all welcome. These services are lead by a mix of leaders within the church, with a wide variety of creative styles.

Our church supports a wide range of mission efforts around the world. We see that it is important to be focusing outwards, being part of the Lord’s mission. We have specific interest in:

  • Cambodia through our Community Clinic fund-raising and the vision of church members.
  • Madagascar to which we have sent three mission teams involving builders, electricians, nurses, engineers and others. The latest news in this area is found on the Trusts website.

Young Adults

Early 2016 we will open Bryndwr House. A friendly, Christian flat for students from uni or Laidlaw College in the five bedroom home right across the road from the church. If you’d like to live there please contact us.

High school students enjoy our Friday evening programme. Lots of details here.

Want a place where your children are cared for and taught great values in a family atmosphere? At KidzAlive (primary-age children) we learn about life with Jesus and issues that face us while on earth. More info here.
